deathstar9
It's going to be like what Wilma did to Miami high rises. Maybe worse, Miami high rises have been built with this stuff in mind. Many more high rises of older construction in nyc as well.

whiteoutwx1796
radarscope for iphone. With reflectivity tilt 2 as the source. I find that is the best and most detailed mode. Thanks downloading right now on droid 3.

A-L-E-X
So NYC just reached its record August rainfall total. How much do we need to beat the all time monthly record? We almost did it in October 2005..... maybe this time we can actually do it

YankeeFan
Somehow I find the hype just a little too much. NOAA is reporting winds of 85 MPH right now, but if you go to Weather Underground's WunderMap, the stations closest to where the eye is supposed to be are only reporting winds of 30 to 45 MPH....WTF? MJO812
It is weird to see this storm still a Cat 1 storm with a pressure of 947. She looks really nice right now. http://www.ssd.noaa.gov/goes/flt/t2/flash-rb.html

TheTrials
So far the best rain and storms are angled to southern jersey, not much coming in off the ocean, hope that changes as it comes north and doesnt all go to the west side

I ve been saying that for a while now but some stations this morning recorded gusts of 105+mph.
