Dino
I think this is as far west as this storm is going to go. The previous storm that rolled through was suppressed to the south and east, so if the pattern holds on the model runs, we might see this storm swing back east over the next few days. Keep the hope alive!
Ian
it's sort of a step back in the right direction at 500 but the low is closer so not as much cad etc. im not sure how we get much good out of this at this point but i guess we have a few runs to see if we can keep getting any shifts that way. i'd bet on rain then cold... clskinsfan
Its not good for any of us. Might have to take a road trip to Deep Creek Lake. Epic lake effect snows coming there. Jebman
Pretty simple - mountains get smothered with huge amounts of snow. It's freezing cold here now - But we get a boatload of heavy rain - followed by more chill. No frzra, no snow, no flurries, no sleet. Rinse and repeat. Sound familiar? Wonderdog
Did anyone see Nikolai's post in the Philly Phorum? Does his argument have any merit?

Nina winter pattern for sure. We need to wait until later in the winter for some overrun events. Then a nice Jebwalk would be in order.
