These kind of demonstrative fact-based post ahead of anything verified sounds too much like me - lol.

Seriously, what is meant by the NC coast? That's a bit unclear to me... A significant part of that geography does not require an eye passing over enough land to impose substantial enough weakening. Just curious. A skim along the NC coast is a land fall but let's get real. Also, does the fact that this is already moving N ahead of schedule factor into those declarations??

That's a really good question, I kind of was wondering this myself. Wish it was more clear on what that meant precisely.

The fact that she is moving due north already is pretty darn interesting and would make you think the westward track by the NHC may be a bit too far west but who knows, perhaps she starts moving more westerly again but if this northward movement is still ongoing by tomorrow morning then it's probably highly unlikely it goes more westerly.

But i'm leaving North Carolina Saturday morning headed to Topsfield Maine, What kind of conditions can I expect on the drive up and Saturday night into Sunday up that way? How much Rain/Wind etc.... Suppose to start Bear Hunting Monday (weather permitting) lol

Thanks in advance, Rodney
