She's got good outflow to the north and outflow slowly expanding wsw so shear may be weakening a tiny bit. It has a chance to strengthen later today and tonight.

Ill take the Nam and run. 1 tree in my yard, neighborhood build on old gravel pit which can't flood. pretty much only think that could hurt where I live is a tornado.

Well that's good. Glad your house will be ok and this storm will work for you. What about the majority of us that it won't be ok for? I seriously don't get the excitement about the devastation this thing will reap upon millions of people. This storm if it makes landfall will undoubtably injure and kill people. It could ruin people financially if their insurance riders don't cover damage to their homes. Seriously I know some are excited, but just stop and think of the ramifications and havoc this thing will bring upon your neighbors, friends, family and property if this track holds.

951 mb from 950 mb....

Stable

If it was really falling apart as some are inferring from satellite, probably would have been worse

I think still have time for a decent eye to form by tonight with jump to upper Cat3

I don't know who suggested that.....it just looks ragged and in a steady state.

If you don't like this talk go elsewhere, most of us are here b/c we love extreme wx and want to witness it, nobody wants to see people killed or lives affected but that is out of our control.

Haha.. I mean why the hell would I be on here if I wanted this to miss. It will go where it wants it to go.. if you were worried about damage when you bought the house, you should of looked in California

Yeah and I like a storm and weather as much as the next guy but to be openly rooting for devastation is a little extreme. I hope this thing misses everyone. I don't particularly enjoy living like a caveman for two weeks and filling out insurance claims. That's just me though.

The general board dynamic is to root for as extreme weather as possible. Nobody really wants to live without power for days and fill out insurance claims, but most of are willing to grin and bear it if it means getting to witness intense storm.
