wxeyeNH
I just made another thread to discuss what happens fi AMWX goes down with server overloads. Maybe we could all find another place to meet in case it would. AMWX is a huge info source and if it went down for any extended time over the next few days it would be awful. Can discuss it in the other thread. Gene

mattb65
After that euro run lot of superlatives and weenie chucking on the latest TWC report including mentions of uping the E MA, S MA and LI coast from high damage potential to exceptional - whatever that means... Tropopause_Fold
As a review, how has the Euro been overall with this event? It's been ok...not great though...has been a bit jumpy. Imo, gfs has shown good (better) consistency
tamarack
Good luck finding milk, bread, or bottled water left for sale in RI at this time tomorrow. I smell at least a Part 3 to this thread arriving shortly. Just the beginning. If track predictions remain fairly close to what they are at present, we might be on #8 (or 10) by this time Friday. Imo, gfs has shown good (better) consistency I am skeptical of this latest jump back W from previous runs. It's become a western outlier now. Imo, gfs has shown good (better) consistency Thanks, I wasn't paying attention in the days prior to the tracks into Florida/Carolinas. Looking at the NAM and my other favorite 3 letter model along with the water vapor the first trough is somewhat more impressive, more in line with the 18z NAM as it comes across the Lakes. As a result there's a bit of a tug NW in the 18z NAM that wasn't there earlier. Sort of a compromise between the 12z which pushed the cane SW versus older runs, and all the prior runs. Ginx snewx
Just had a EOC meeting, surprised to find out CNN has this as a 2 at our location. I also was surpised no members of the EOC had heard about the excessive rainfall, when I mentioned 8 plus amounts they were shocked. Folks only think about wind I guess. Coordination calls Friday 10AM
