hckyplayer8
This is how rare this event is, this is a map off all known tracks and strenghts of storms. http://www.csc.noaa....selectedIndex=1 How about filtering out the tracks that look nothing like Irene's. Those storms are much more analogous to Irene in structure than any of that nonsense he is spewing. lol...that 930's prediction is one of the bigger strikeouts of recent memory. LakeEffectKing
If Irene hits NC on Saturday August 27, 2011, it will be: 1078 Days since hurricane Ike hit Houston on September 13, 2008....the last US LF of a hurricane. 1078 Days = 25872 Hours = 1552320 Minutes = 93139200 Seconds

A-L-E-X
Put the pipe down. What time frame does that cover? You should filter out all TS and only include hurricanes. I dont see a Cat 3 1938 Long Island LF on there, so I dont think that map is all inclusive. I do see the tracks of the 1893 and 1903 Cat 1 canes though, as well as what looks like Cat 2 Gloria. Dunkman
I have TWC on behind me and they actually said "we've never seen a hurricane like this before." I have to agree, I've never seen a storm get chopped in half during the satellite blackout. 2011, the year of the disappearing cyclone.
