I am so jealous. Found out today my brother, the divorced/remarried Bush is Hitler Kansas City IndyMedia No War for Oil dude, and his new wife, are helping my niece move into college in Manhattan. Barnard.

Theyir web page says move in pushed to Monday, I should probably tell him.

Related topic, easily seen on the PSU e-Wall regional GFS, Irene isn't a classic cyclone in the tropics when it reaches the Northeast, as to be expected. Almost all of the heavy rain falls North and West of the track.

I was trying to point this out on the other forum, along with the fact that none of the models seem to be forecasting any sustained winds greater than 40-45MPH anywhere but NJ, but they were too interested in doom & apocalypse and told me to STFU.

Oh well, guess they only get a storm once every 30 years or so so let em weenie a bit hehe...

Oh, for the love of Christ. I see no reason why soji wouldn't be welcome. You were unwelcome for a reason.

Because it was an East Coast beltway centric forum of people who worked for the government or who depended on the government or their workers, and despised working people in 'flyover country'? Look at Bo, even being gay isn't good enough if you're not a party line Leninist who despises the petit bourgeosis. Or, heaven forbid, live with the dirty finger nail riff raff in Indiana.

You really need to STFU right now.

Folks the latest radar shows Irene moving north east and I note that the eye is getting tighter and smaller, which is a sure sign of weakening. I think we will miss this over-hyped storm in Philly. The Yid predicts for Philadelphia 1-2 inches of rain with sustained winds of 20 mph gusting to 30. Everyone relax.

It was never going to be a big deal for Philly, you're not going to get hurricane conditions away from the coast. Flooding is the biggest factor for that area.<br>

It's just such a bad post though. I'm thinking more like 6-10" of rain for Philly barring a decent shift east. And at least TS conditions for a while.
