Thunder Road
Ed, its not like I give much credibility to the NOGAPS, its just worth noting a trend like that when you have a model thats been taking it OTS constantly take a shift like that, though we know it is a crap chute in the first place. Regardless, I have a lot of tropical knowledge, but most of the time I leave it to the red taggers to take care of. I mean I don't have a piece in the paper from the first week of August that predicted a hurricane late Aug/early Sep, reduced heat and flooding rains. I know my stuff pretty good, better than some, but theres no need when I can watch the mets feed us good info. I'm waiting for the NOGAPS ensembles to see if there is any support. Big Jims Videos
I'm very impressed by the amount of experts that have popped up this week. I honestly thought being an expert required sitting at a desk in front of a green screen with the image of the city you're closest to fielding questions from a cable news anchor. Sickman
lol crap chute Is that when a skydiver plays a practical joke and replaces another skydiver's chute pack with poo? canderson
12z EURO has Irene directly hitting NYC. Don't buy that for a second, but this is becoming an actual nightmare scenario for the city (storm surge, sitting on the west-side). Going to be a long/fun next four days.
