we were in a mandatory evac during Bob at 12 ' asl. we did not evac however most of the neigbbors werw gone. iirc the water line in carol came to our front door as the older neighbors pointed out. as for the storm, it still looks more like a carolina scrape then just offshore...nothing has changed in my opinion since Sunday.

Thankfully not, now my thoughts turn to those on the Cape, I hope it misses wide right so it spares the entire east coast, incredible body surfing ri beaches sun, mon probably will be too big.

As long as this curls under us, surf sucks in windy chop, very best like Bill is offshore long rollers. Tight to the coast hurricanes tend to not be as great as the swell gets broken up. If a cat 3 is just off Hatteras then that day should be great, fishing will be off the hook too.

UGH....yea, anytime you see that, that is exactly what will transpire.

I wont be happy if we don't even see flooding rain from this.. how can models go from FL hit to fish in 2.5 days? Still have time though.. not worried yet.. hopefully euro holds

I love how declarations are being made that it's now a miss and will miss everyone entirley..based on 1 set of model runs lol

No one said that....but if the that image Ryan posted were to end up being representative of the pantheon of possible tracks, then it's time to move on.

Not there, yet....but that is disheartening.

I have always thought it's Carolinas or bust.

Whose to say they are right? and are underestimating the strength of the ridge? We've seen wild swings west and east with this the last 2 days. I don't see anything right now that doesn't point to a ILM hit in NC..and then from there..who knows.
