* UNTIL 245 PM EDT

* AT 219 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A

SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING A TORNADO NEAR NORTH POINT

STATE PARK...MOVING NORTHEAST AT 10 MPH.

* LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...

MILLERS ISLAND...

.NEAR TERM /THROUGH MONDAY/...

HAVE ISSUED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 794 FOR THE ENTIRE CWA

EXCLUDING THE POTOMAC HIGHLANDS AND WESTERN MARYLAND. WATCH IS IN

EFFECT THROUGH 9 PM. STILL EXPECTING A SIGNIFICANT SEVERE

WEATHER EVENT THAT IS JUST BEGINNING.

Right. I just think ppl read too much into what is non standardized text from LWX. It's a weekend.. People are out at pools etc. There is a bit more widespread svr than normal. I think that's all they mean.

Waiting for my turn down here. Am I gonna die?

I'm embarrased for the weather community these days. What if everything was treated like we do weather now? None of us would be able to carry on with our lives as we'd be too scared to move.
