Almost like an MCS. Whether it happens is another story.

CT Rain
Damn that storm near Shelton and Ansonia, Ct looks like its going to rock the **** out of route 8 shortly. So far rotation is a bit too broad for a tornado but it's close... nice hook echo too

Tropopause_Fold
Funny how the environment just west of most of sne is slightly better and how that's playing into things. Some of those better parameters should cross over us later on though

Some of those better parameters should cross over us later on though LLJ should be on the increase now in the NYC area and that may promote a few more discrete cells down that way. Not me in VT
I wish!!!!. We have to way out the game over our responsibilities here at the FD. With a sea breeze out of the south I don't think we have to worry about anything until later tonight. Unless anyone thinks otherwise.

Tropopause_Fold
What happens when we lose daytime heating though? I guess with that enviro translating east later it may not matter too much well you don't need boatloads of CAPE in such a highly sheared environment. I don't know about tor threat but could definitely envision numerous svr warned elements moving across the area tonight. Wind threat is real id say. The stuff in SE PA is congealing into an ugly mess and moving NE. May become more of a flash flooding threat on the nose of developing LLJ/strong warm advection?
