Thanks. I'll admit, I was more freaked by this one than any other. Probably because of the intense duration of the lightning / thunder. That lightning / thunder crash near the beginning ? .. It was the same intensity like that for an entire hour ! Being up this high in elevation increases your chance of being struck as well... And I wasn't kiddin when the lightning was practically sideways. Total duration of thunder / lightning today = around 5 - 6 hours. But that 1 hour was extremely intense. Come to think of it now.....I don't know wtf I was thinkin. Probably more weird was how steady I held the camera the whole time....Because I was shaken like crazy inside. I keep an old truck at the cabin and before last week it has received hood dimples and a new windshield from earlier this summer. It look ok on the web cams but its hard to know for sure.
