Looks like we have a nice long squall line forming

its not a squall line, that would be what pushed through the midwest yesterday and caused the derecho with all the damage or the stage collapse at the Indiana state fair.

There are slow moving pulsers dropping torrential rain and some severe hail if you are in the right place at the right time

For Brooklyn nothing, Queens and on definitely (based on summer's trend)

I'm looking at the radar and it seems like these cells are moving East pretty well. What are the chances of the storms making it to Long Island? I gotta figure out if it worth washing the car to take it out tonight laugh.gif

But they are not individual pulsers anymore, its developing into a pretty solid line of thunderstorms, and I've always known a line of thunderstorms to be a squall line

Frequent CTG lightning and very loud thunder, getting breezy. Skies dark, looks like cells in Freehold moving NE slowly. Line over W NJ sagging to the SE.

Raining pretty heavy here with frequent ctg. Just what we need more rain this week.

Had a pretty good gust a few minutes before the rain, had tons of thunder and lightning, hail went to my east and south I believe. Probably Edison, Colonia, Clark, Rahway area

Raining steadily here now with thunder and the occasional closer bolt. At its peak there were some very gusty winds with sheets of rain along with an unnerving amount of CGs being spit out. No hail though, however points south (Rahway, Plainfields) look like they're getting hammered.
