CoastalWx
Love to see how pulsers behave when wind shear is 10kts. Look at BOS and even Philly radar. Cells stalled along outflow and terrain boundaries.

CT Rain
Man CT got the screwjob..WHat happened? south winds? No. We had lots of mid level junk in here midday which capped instability and we just haven't been able to fire anything in the hills yet.

Ginx snewx
I didn't notice any gravity wave clouds, but I don't know how it went from a cell in nrn RI to a line of storms moving ne. I did mention this morning that we had a s/w to the south and we could see storms form in places we didn't think, so there ya go I guess. At least I had VCTS in my BOS TAF this morning..lol. Yep, the visible showed them when I posted, definite lines of gravity type wave formation, cool stuff.

CT Rain
Posted several times, marine layer, low clouds and lack of instability. I wouldn't call it a marine layer... but there was a lot of mid level cloudiness that capped potential. Now we're going to start seeing some anvil cloud crap moving in from the west. Maybe it's the type of situation where a squall like rips through NY State, but we may see continued development overnight as models seem bullish with QPF. The trough continues to sharpen as the dynamics kick in overnight. Even a somewhat baggy look on the isobars near 00z over BGM area.
CoastalWx
ML CAPES were over 2500J today. That will give you the updraft strength to negate the lack of shear. CBs had a very buoyant look to them, in terms of how the structure looked. Indicative a good instability.

We can actually advect high dews north and not worry about a 10c inversion below 925mb lol.
