EasternUSWX
Ok so here is my first look at this upcoming winter. I based my forecast of of analog years 1961-1962, 1971-1972, 1985-1986, 1995-1996, 2008-2009, 2010-2011. I believe Nino will be near neutral this season or a slight La Nina. Not the best long range forecaster but, I thought to give it a try this year. Here are the maps. BethesdaWX
How'd you come up with your analog years, and what websites did you use to look at climate products from those years? Probably through appropriate climactic similarities, looking them up on US climate Plots at ESRL is a good way to start.
