Chinook
I am trying to update my web page that provides NOAA plots of snowfall for various snow events. I am interested in featuring the North Dakota blizzard of March 11, but I can't come up with a very good map of heavy snowfall. All I can come up with is this: http://www.nohrsc.nws.gov/interactive/html/map.html?mode=pan&extents=us&zoom=&loc=48.71+N%2C+107.57+W&ql=station&var=snowfall_obs_72_h&dy=2011&dm=3&dd=13&dh=12&snap=1&o9=1&o13=1&lbl=m&min_x=-107.60833333333&min_y=42.616666666667&max_x=-92.441666666668&max_y=51.15&coord_x=-100.024999999999&coord_y=46.883333333333496&zbox_n=&zbox_s=&zbox_e=&zbox_w=&metric=0&palette=1&width=800&height=450&nw=800&nh=450&h_o=0&font=0&js=1&uc=0 I am wondering if I should post observations from Grand Forks or Fargo or some other location. baroclinic_instability
The storm thread that few cared about because we have no members up there. I love ND/SD blizzards, and these "ground blizzards" are common up there.
