Alpha5
Hey guys. As the NAO continues its record negative streak, I was wondering if anyone could explain what exactly drives the NAO. What specifically causes the pressure systems to align themselves the way they do. I know solar activity and the QBO play a role, but I would really appreciate it if someone could go into more detail as to why the NAO does what it does. Just to be clear, I understand what defines a -NAO and +NAO. Im looking for what factor causes the NAO to go into either phase. Thanks in advance
