SnoSki14
What a nutty run that was. First you get a primary in Michigan, a secondary inland Virginia, an inch plus of rains in the northeast, then the cold front swings through, it stalls near NYC, Maine gets inches of rain, parts of Florida end of colder than parts of E NE, the low offshore restrengthens, retrogrades and gives us snows, and a huge -NAO perfect block forms. Is there anything else I missed?

Dsnowx53
It looks like a Tropical Storm forms at 210 hours, and tries to turn straight north at 40 West, but then the huge ULL captures it and tries to bring it back BEHIND the storm that is already giving us snow! :lmao:
atownwxwatcher
Does anyone have the 240 hour map? Can not wait to see the means tonight from this!
earthlight
Nothing better than a retrograding snowstorm that turns to sleet in NYC and coastal areas with the ULL stalling over the Mid Atlantic and a ridge connecting from the Southwest US to Greenland. mattinpa
yes, the hr nhem 216 map looks like its giving the middle finger Could definitely not mean much in a goofy run like this, but how much snow do we get from the retrograding low?
