MN Transplant Posted August 12, 2011 Share Posted August 12, 2011 It really comes down to whether you value the greatest two week stretch of heat in DC history and hottest single month, or racking up the most 90° days and having "summer'' continue into non-summer months (last Sept w/10 90° days). Ellinwood is right, can't look at this objectively until the final totals are in, and even our feelings may be skewed right now having just emerged from the worst of it. BethesdaWX Posted August 12, 2011 Share Posted August 12, 2011 2010 just seemed worse, I do not remember any breaks in 2010, just a constant flux of awfulness. I left town this yr fearing a repeat of last July, so I did not experience the heateave, and I don't regret it, 121 at DC, wow.
