Radtechwxman
Storm rolled through here and scared the hell out of me. I'm definitely not the person I was before the tornado. Of course it didn't help that the weekend meteorologist on one of the TV stations kept mentioning a tornado, and showed the tower cam and a shelf cloud then suddenly a transformer exploded due to lightning or wind and he was mentioning a possible tornado and the tornado impact was 9.0. Whew.... that is perfectly understandable JoMo. that was a traumatic and tragic experience. that is something you never forget. i would be a lil paranoid to if part of my town was wiped out by an EF5. glad you made it though

hm8
Wow. That was totally unexpected. Storm got severe warned right as it was above me. Ended up being the best storm of the year here IMBY by far, maybe last year as well. Winds were probably 60 mph or higher, I'll look around for branches and stuff down later. Torrential rains and some half-inch hail as well. Only downside was the lack of lighting. Looking at the radar I pretty much was right in the dead center of this thing.
