DCMetroWinston
Is there is a point where the extreme cold inhibits ski business instead of enhances it?

NCHurricane
Trace line needs to be farther south by me but this gives the general idea. That's spot on for my location. I was thinking maybe the measurement that I took was a little high, but it has 1.3 right where I live.
kanc2001
Is there is a point where the extreme cold inhibits ski business instead of enhances it? maybe on a daily short term it could inhibit a slight amount on an extremely cold outbreak, but long term the goal in the SE ski industry is to get as much snow on the slopes as possible when temps allow to help mitigate the periodical warm spells
NEGa
Is there is a point where the extreme cold inhibits ski business instead of enhances it? In the se, not really. Went to sugar last year and it snowed all weekend with temps in the single digits. Slopes were packed!!! I think in the se if you have real natural snow to ski on you go for it lol
