michsnowfreak Posted December 10, 2010 Share Posted December 10, 2010 Looks like in the Detroit area, a little more snow fell south of the city than north, a little surprising. It was basically an inch, to be technical 0.9" at both my house and dtw, but with near 10-1 ratio powder (I had 0.08" liquid, 0.9" snow), roads were a mess, several parking lots have plow piles now (lol you can tell plows couldnt wait to get out). Newport reported 1.4". It was one of those snows that moneyman was lamenting last week. the fine flakes settle into the ground as they fall, making it look like more snow on the sidewalk than the grass. It is melting some now (bitter cold all week, now that we get more than a dusting of snowcover it decides to eclipse freezing lol).
