ORH_wxman
Violently disagree to the point of snapping off your thin, fragile arms Parts of the upper Cape probably beat your 2010-2011 total by 2 feet.

ORH_wxman
Same with you Yes, but about 2" less than they beat you by. However in 2004-2005, I had 114" while you probably had 85".

ORH_wxman
Just think of the snowbanks he could have made with 36" of semi-wet snow. Some of those places got another 10" a few days later. I really wish the pics of that blizzard were still up on google. A couple years ago you could google "January 2005 Cape Cod blizzard" and there were a series of pics that showed a house basically buried in the drifts. But its not there anymore. I remember on WWBB someone posted a pic from Sandwich, MA after the Jan 26, 2005 storm just a few days after the blizzard and it looked like they had about 45" on the ground. No that was during the Dec '03 storm. I was actually home during the Jan '05 blizzard. I went home during the Dec '03 storm, but then went back to her house later at night because I knew it would flip to snow. I wanted to see what S+ and 60mph winds would do...lol. I wanted to weenie out at home during '05, but in retrospect...I should have stayed there. I spent a few storms there on purpose, however...lol. Everyone speaks of all the positive busts that season, but there was a big, fat terd in the punchbowl along about the 2nd week of Feb.....1' of snow ended up as 1" of rain and W ME got croaked.....set the stage for that type of Feb, where the pattern flipped N for a time. Well we had that one storm, but we still had a few storms give you a few inches up to mid month....even a surprise weenie band just to your south during 2/10-2/11. We got a region wide 3-6" on the 21st, then the two south coast biggies came later that month.

Several events that season stand out in my memory, but not all of those dates. I was in the library on the S Campus of UML and I snuck onto the a comp to find that they had finally taken the warnings down, essentially as the rain was about to start. It had been obvious for hours what would ensue, as the we had a warm wind blowing and snow was melting.

I forgot what those first two storms did, since they were rather pedestrian. The last two I remember well. The storm on 2/10 I think had a band of TSSN near Dover and up through Natick. It was a wet snow there iirc.
