ZeeTwentyFour
How big was the hail you got from the first storm? You're one town east of me lol. We got nada here. I went chasing this one; as soon as I got into north Baldwin i got tiny "hard rain" as I call it, then when i was in Hempstead it was full on pea sized hail. The biggest I saw was maybe 1/2" - 3/4" up in Garden City. I'm uploading a bunch of videos I took on my route north from Oceanside; they'll be on youtube shortly. P.S. now this storm is heading straight for us! Get ready Alex.

ag3
I was at work in Bayside earlier. We looked to be on the edge of the storms. Got some great CG lightning and loud thunder for almost an hour, but rain was only on and off every few minutes. Here at home in Kew Gardens, not a drop of rain. Bayside looks to be getting hammered now. Of course they are. Right when I left work and now home in Astoria!

A-L-E-X
Shocked that it hasn't rained at the mets game yet It would be funny if they had hail and one of their hitters accidentally hit it instead of the ball

ag3
Why are these storms so small and isolated and always going over the same areas? That's the 1st storm of the day for that part of Queens. Before, the storm missed to the east of there.
chazman
Got in touch with my brother in NHP...said his windshield is cracked, and back window completely gone. Same with almost everyone on his block (as well as tree down, and flooded basements). ZeeTwentyFour
PFFFFT. This cell over Nassau is peanuts compared to Easter Suffolk! I hope that thing holds it together over the sound... Is it me or is the Nassau cell breaking up already
