Isotherm
Yeah as NJwinter said, easily the best thunder/lightning event of the summer. It's been ongoing for about 3 hours, and I'm still seeing occasional lightning. 0.25" of rain as most was to my north, but awesome clouds.
Diego
Looks like cells headed straight for Manh., but may have weakened somewhat.

NJwinter23
Wow. Amazing pics NJWinter! Storm still strong but weakened a little in the last couple frames. Thanks. Just an erie constant rumble as this shelf cloud approached with flashes everywhere.. The storm actually took a long time after this to really kick in...i was ready to give up on it, and then BOOM, the winds kicked in probably gusted around 50 at times, but I could be exaggerating though lol. The lightning strikes were incredibly close too, lost power 3 times.

Yeah I got some really great video too of lightning strikes within a couple miles, and during the windy parts. Unfortunately they are too long and i cant upload from my phone. A shame too, its all complete with me cussing like a sailor and overreacting to an intense weather situation...just bringing the weather nerd out of me.. A-L-E-X
It was about pea sized, possibly a little larger. I'd say this has to be storm of the year. What was your rainfall? Did you get the 65+ mph gusts?
