MJO812
It's getting hot outside. I was sweating while I was walking outside. It wouldnt surprise me if it gets drier, seems those types of fronts have been drying up closer to the forecast day lately. Hopefully it does because I have a bbq to go to. SACRUS
lol Euro looks rather wet on wed too. It also maintains a pretty soggy/stormy saturday while the gfs has scattered storms.
Isotherm
lol 00z NAM takes that swath through the PHL area, lol. I feel like this will be similar to tracking a winter storm's axis of heaviest snows. The band projected is so narrow that it's going to be difficult to nail down until we're on top of the event. ag3
big bust on the nam as the mcs looks to miss s and w....so much for rain and 60's tommorow... Bust 36 hours before an event? 6z NAM still shows over 1" of rain for NYC and more just south: 6z GFS has less but it has the heaviest precip right around NYC. Canadian also has a decent amount of rain into NYC...About .50" 0z Ukie also has close to .50" of rain, with heaviest centered from NYC on south. Yeah the euro has been consistent and is similar to the nam. Looking at the satellite we can see the gloomy weather poised to track right over us tomorrow. Looks like the crappiest day in a while is in store for tomorrow.
Brian5671
my point is that it's trending south and west....question is the trend done? In reality, this could be a Trenton or Philly cuttoff with none to the north and east. Upton covers this well in their AM discussion today... It will be intersting to track and I hope it stays south as much as possible so I can have some work done on the deck.
