CAT5ANDREW
NYC has not been below 80 since July 3rd.Last summer they went from July 14-Aug 15th between sub 80 degree days.
Stormlover74
I'd say Sunday will be the best chance depending on just how much cloud cover and rain there is. Monday has a shot as well but my guess is low 80s (like tomorrow). EWR will be lucky to get a <85 degree day out of this cool down or a <65 low. Sundog
LOL it still hasnt been raining here much. I've gotten around 4 inches of rain just from yesterday and the day of hail storms. For up here it's been a dramatic turnaround. Before the heatwave even storms that would affect most of the city would miss this corner of Queens lol. Monthly Climate data shows, 1.65" after the mid-July heat wave and 2.58" for August so far. So a total of 4.23" of rain for LGA, after the mid-July heat wave. Greenery looks great here around work in Bayside.
