Isotherm
Atrocious Tim. Yeah the clouds seem to be hitting a brick wall in Eastern PA. What looked to be a cloudy day is turning out to be beautiful. Tomorrow looking much worse than today clouds wise.

A light burn, which'll turn me a shade darker later on. GTL.

CooL
A solid batch of soaking rain to our west, looks like it would easily make it here but the 12z nam had it missing, looks like its wrong. http://radar.weather.gov/Conus/northeast_loop.php

CooL
What do models look like for overnight into tomorrow? should definitely see some scattered decent rain from that broad low pressure..nam and gfs show 0.50-075" pretty much area wide. This is incredibly boring but there is basically nothing else in the wx world to track. The tropics have been sucking and our weather has been typical. I feel like its brain surgery to get a decent storm this year.
A-L-E-X
What were the highs? Was on a boat all day and it felt pretty hot. 81 here and just humid not hot. Looks like we've had that pattern change.

One thing I want to get some numbers on is in years where summer heat ends early, is there some correlation to winter snow/cold ending early too? uncle W
One thing I want to get some numbers on is in years where summer heat ends early, is there some correlation to winter snow/cold ending early too? probably not...1994 had July heat and August cooling...the winter was terrible... Some years with hot July's and cool Augusts... 1885 1887 1952 1957 1934 1921 1962 1963 2008 1987 1986 1982

Still think Aug will finish on the plus side. Clouds have been getting in the way, but those sites that had sun yesterday came close to 90 in NJ. Same the other day (last Thu) and Fri. Today we look locked in the clouds with only minor breaks but tomorrow through Wed will be warm. Beyond there the euro has a strong trough digging in by later next weekend into the week of the 15th then has the ridge building back in by the 16th. This is incredibly boring but there is basically nothing else in the wx world to track. The tropics have been sucking and our weather has been typical. I feel like its brain surgery to get a decent storm this year. I haven't been able to buy a storm this year. Everytime a severe weather outbreak happens, even a county over from me I can have mammatus clouds, distant thunder/lightning. When it gets to me its been a little downpour, some lightning and thunder and that's it. FAIL!!! Lol
Isotherm
I've got a load of nada thus far, a few ticks in the bucket is all. Hopefully some decent storms today although that's probably wishful thinking.
Stormlover74
The GFS still has precip this afternoon and tonight but so far totals have been very unimpressive except for NW NJ and north of NYC I've got a load of nada thus far, a few ticks in the bucket is all.
