That map makes little sense given the current radar unless heavier stuff develops well to our north and west

The rain on 122z NAM is mostly from 6pm-8am. And as Trials said, most of it is convective.

Maybe the NAM did but the official forecast has consistently shown low to mid 80s. Had the clouds moved in earlier nobody would have gotten up near 90

Crazy how I'm almost at 90 and the forecast less than 2 days ago called for 70's. I like our area's unpredictability. Plus at least today will be salvageable.

All we needed was another hour and we would have had some 90 readings. Still nice half of a day. Light rain here now and down to 80.

Looks like pockets of light rain through 10pm and then a round of heavier rain with embedded convection overnight.

The radar looks pretty active. Finally some rain.

The only thing that stinks is that I have to be at work at 3am for truck.:lightning:

I just got some pretty decent downpours.

Yeah. Here also. The models like the euro and GFS that had only .10"-.25" of rain appear like they will look foolish.

Thereaid 3-4 hours of this light to moderate rain left and then a period of heavier rain overnight.

If that batch of heavy rain over the poconos and catskills holds up,some places could see 1.5-2.00 inches of total rainfall here.

my lawn could use that! So far about .15 here. I'm guessing the heavier stuff weakens somewhat as it crosses the mts?
