The earth is billions of years old And even if you acknowledge long term climate shifts, its been thousands of years since the last ice age. I dont think a big winter is any more or less likely than what it usually is-- just because we had them the last two winters, says nothing about the following winter. We were using the same arguments last winter remember-- and look what happened. I'm not saying it's going to or not going to happen, I just think it's a fallacy to think something is more or less likely based on what happened the previous year. If anything, persistence would argue for the pattern to continue-- but I'm not going to make that argument lol. This is like people saying that the northeast is overdue for a hurricane.
