It's been trying the last couple hours. Clearly some convergence along the western lake shore with a decent band sitting over most of Cuyahoga county the past hour and a half or so. It has unfortunetely been sitting just south of downtown.

Trent any idea when this so called east-west band may set up tonight?

Roads trecherous here. Started to drive into Coshocton and got about 2 miles and nearly went off the road so I turned back around. Got a little over an inch so far and snowing hard. Not sure how long itl last.

I'm surprised at how bad the roads around downtown Columbus near OSU were earlier. Very icy and semi-snow covered. Still slushy even now....We have about 1.25" on campus.

Yea my sister goes to OSU and lives near campus and said the rush hour was pretty bad. I live in rural town, and US 36 hadnt been touched. at 2:30 they salted the roads, but it didnt help at all with the snow that fell.

I'm in Reminderville for the night. We have seen about 0.5" in the last hour and 1.2" since I got here at 5:30, looks like it is ripping just a couple miles north of here where reflectivities have been between 25-35dBZ since 7:30. Primary band going like was thought possible, we'll see if it lasts. More echoes developing over the western portion of the lake, so let's see if the help the band continue.
