AT 123 PM EDT RADAR INDICATED A THUNDERSTORM SLOWLY MOVING THROUGH

COMMUNITIES WEST OF AND IN THE VICINITY OF QUABBIN RESERVOIR

INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LEVERETT... AMHERST...PELHAM...AND

SHUTESBURY. RADAR ESTIMATES THAT UP TO 2 INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN

IN SOME LOCATIONS IN THE PAST HOUR...AND THE STORMS MAY PRODUCE AN

ADDITIONAL INCH OR SO OF RAIN THROUGH 230 PM. THIS WOULD BE

SUFFICIENT TO PRODUCE PONDING OF WATER IN LOW LYING AND POOR

DRAINAGE AREAS...AS WELL AS PUSH SOME SMALL STREAMS TO NEAR BANKFULL

LEVELS.
