Damage In Tolland
Was getting crushed in Windsor as I left..all the way home really..and when i hit the hills it magically was just light rain and some thunder. Why are they only centered in the valley today?

weatherwiz
That makes zero sense..Someone who knows please advise Just like you saying today's main threat was damaging winds.
CoastalWx
That makes zero sense..Someone who knows please advise Since shear wasn't all that great, so far it seems that they formed along the higher terrain and then perhaps got concentrated by some sort of lee trough or mesoscale phenomenon like terrain playing havoc with winds and creating a boundary for them to feed off of. It also might be that we have better venting out in western mass so once storms leave the point of initiation, they collapse. It's weird.
