a subtle hook feature to that cell in northern ma. some weak rotation persisting there too.

No doubt. In fact I think a weak tornado or at least a funnel cloud occurred north of Northfield Mountain Res.

Funny that the cells just won't get east of the CT valley.

i haven't looked to see recent mesoanalysis but can't say i saw anything earlier that suggested the environment would be all that much less favorable in eastern areas. but these things are just collapsing as they come east. maybe just slightly better mid-level lapse rates out over central and western areas still?

Hey if your at your house go outside and check out the clouds. Probably the best mamantus clouds I've ever seen. Not sure what end of bow you live in but its toward dunbarton and probably woodhill road I would guess.

It looked like dews were slightly less here, but yeah..it's like a barrier exists near the CT valley. For now, anyways.

All I know is when they approach is,it feels dryer.
