CapturedNature Posted July 28, 2011 Share Posted July 28, 2011 Here's the second time lapse I did of the snow melt at Crater Lake NP. This one is from one of the entrance stations. You can see the 15-20' snow banks melt and grow for a while and then start a slow decline until they are all gone. It's interesting to watch this one a couple of times as you pick up on a couple of things. First, you can see the traffic build as the snow melts and second, you can buried trees come to life as they see light again. Again, the look best at full screen.
