62nd day in a row at or above 80 here. Need to go back and count up the 90 degree days. I'm guessing somewhere over 20.

EDIT: Cause I'm bored with the current weather I went back and tallied up my weather station data....

90 degree days in May: 3

90 degree days in Jun: 6

90 degree days in Jul: 17

90 degree days in Aug: 5

TOTAL 90 degree days so far: 31

Also 2 100 degree days in July.

Current streak of 80°+ started June 25th.

Yawn...

When does the weather get exciting again? Tracking Irene now, only because I have some co-workers who live in the areas that will be affected by the storm. (I work from home, so my coworkers are from all over the country....)

Slight chances of storms mid week, and then two days of near 90, and then temps drop off for next weekend, and the beginning of the following week. Nothing to get excited about here....

This has been an absolutely beautiful summer. I am almost ready to let fall begin and then I will hibernate from the board until spring.

I am glad the cold spring didn't carry through the entire summer.

Must of been a miserably hot summer in your house that you're ready for fall.

Must of been a miserably hot summer in your house that you're ready for fall. Haven't had the AC off 66 here for months and its getting old with another month to go. Now I enter POS radiate season at night while everybody else is in the 40's and its 60+ here.

8 month hibernation dude :( See ya on yahoo in 3 months tracking the 1st snow threat of the season.. Before that you will be blowing snow.. Once a snow weenie always a snow weenie

Does it seem to you, that Muncie always seems to be bucking the trend?

A little OT but Brandon (TheWeatherPimp) is chasing Irene in Beaufort, NC

http://swatchasers.c.../Live_Feed.html

Thanks guys! It was an amazing experience since it was my first hurricane. We were literally right on the coast. We had tropical storm force winds for 23 hours with several hours of hurricane force wind gusts. Our highest wind gust was 101 mph and lowest pressure was 963 mb. Picked up just over a foot of rain. Here is my complete blog entry with some pictures.
