Thing that worries me is that we don't do well with a straight coastal: we need a primary that transfers to the coast. That was what happened with the big feb storm last year.

We can do well with a Miller A setup it just needs to come up further inland and either run the spin of the Apps (Very rare track) or come up inland on the eastern side. Right now the Low is centered off the coast which is to far east for us to see much more than cloudy skies and maybe an inch. If it comes further West, which is possible, we will get more snow, further east and we are out of the picture all together. With such a strong block in place I do not know how far west the system can realistically come, but the earlier the phase is the better for us in this case.

Yep... What you can say is that if it comes up I-95 or the apps it will be an absolute bomb.

Radar looking as good as you can hope for a les event IMO....that heavy band in butler county is sagging south..wonder how far it gets as it would be a quick inch at least.

Wow, that band does look nice. Imaging being under that for a couple hours! As of now its snowing moderately here in Greensburg.

Made it to Erie this morning, got in here at about 8:20.. Roads were fine, had a few spots had snow covered, but 79 was wet..

Will be leaving here at about 3, should have a nice ride home actually. Wife said not getting alot of snow at home. Snowing pretty hard up here, but not much is sticking on roads.

There is an intense band starting to form up near Youngstown; I wonder how far south it is going to extend.

Yeah, I just saw that on radar. The band seems to be bending in more of a NNW direction.

Last night the NWS mentioned that a NNW flow would develop, with more of a direct Huron connection.

So this might be the band that really hits Allegheny county.

It's snowing heavily here. I bet I have at least three inches since around four this afternoon. Going to make a wood run in a bit so will measure when I go outside for that. No since in getting cold twice. The winds do not seam as strong as they were eariler this afternoon.

Yeah, If you look at the Radar upstream you can see the band is feeding from both lakes right now.
