If you read the afd they are thinking les sets up after midnight. Much better to go off that than the zone forecast.

Btw, I think there will be a quick burst before the dry slot.

Zone forecast still has after midnight, and has lesser overnight totals then the regular forecast.

Still standing by my 2-5" by Tuesday South of Turnpike, 5-8" East 66, 7-9" Mountains and I-80

Lots of dry air right under this Low. It has been in command for some time now. Doesn't look like we'll see any snow out of this until tomorrow, and the good Lake Effect doesn't really get down here, so I'll consider this a bust unless something really changes.

Unless you get under a band, LES is this area is so hit and miss. Like the setup last week, Mountains ( I got over 8") and North of 422 (where some areas of Northen Butler and North got 8") the city doesn't bode well. I know there was a few reports of 5" in Northern Allegheny County, but this will be a shorter setup. I think last week WTAE Said Allegheny averaged under 2".

We will see what happens, but this why a few of us weren't sold on some saying a few inches by Sunday evening. Warm air sticks around this area longer.

Looks very light.. Just checked out the cam atop the Mercy Medical Center in Canton at their lot isn't even covered, their is blowing snow going through it.

Seems like we may have to wait til things start to move NW to SE.

Well, If you look the radar just filled in the last 30 minutes or so. That would explain the light accumulations.
