Parsley
It looks like you'll get hit rather nicely. Doubtful I will get any action for a while if at all any today. I already started to organize all the thunderstorm footage times into one specific folder to start working on extracting the lightning out of them. So if I dont get anything today, time I think has passed me by and the long winter ahead looking for snow, but also time to work on the rusting of my filming time, Like after a good break in time I am slow to get back into gear for filming thunderstorms. Next year I hope to have much better success then this year, I know that I did half decent but for the most part i had a very bad year content wise. I did have some good quality stuff but quantity its been so poor. Goodluck and enjoy. We had a few good hits this year, but compared to the past 6 years I've lived around here......not as frequent this season. Oh well...bring on the snow. LMolineuxLM1
We had a few good hits this year, but compared to the past 6 years I've lived around here......not as frequent this season. Oh well...bring on the snow. It seems like I cursed it by moving, Where I used to live there was a huge split issue ask John Rodden about this split he will correct everyone who says there is no such thing as a split where I used to live. But back to the curse as such, since I moved it seems like i brought my damn bubble/shield with me to southern delco and new castle county. As to the past the area I live in now used to get pounded right and left as the split would screw me where I used to live, but frequently slam the heck out of where I live now, so far the other way has occured. I know I currently have alot of sun shine but nothing is gonna sweep over here or my house but this is just fueling the stuff out west of me kinda screwing my chances for later on today. Parsley
That stuff to the southwest looks good for Chester and MontCo. (sun shining here as well)......i'm not sure what to believe thereafter for points southeast of here. Its hard to imagine nothing firing up down that way later today.....but its happened (or not happened) before.
LVblizzard
Looks like the strongest storms will hit Allentown as my school dismisses. Most students who go here walk home. Great timing.

Parsley
Sadly, that was prob. a top 3 event for the summer/early fall IMBY. Strong winds just ahead of the storm, heavy rain and brief pea-size hail. Not much thunder/lightning at all.

tombo82685
Nice shots. That storm packed a punch. yea, the course is a great spot to see storms that go to my north do to the high elevation, relatively speaking for this area.
JTA66
About .25" in the rain gauge when I got home. Looks like the heaviest rain passed to the north and south of Lansdale ... which is fine with me, the lawn is STILL drying out from September. phlwx
I was out at Linfield National and got caught in it. Nice storm....didn't expect the punch or the amount of thunder with it.

LMolineuxLM1
KAVP now just 1.41" of precip away from reaching the all-time yearly record of 53.71". I wonder what KPHL is now away from their all time record? If we keep on having things split the way they have, it may fall short.
Voyager
2.50" since the start Wednesday morning. Interesting stats for Allentown. I didn't realize they were pushing 60" for the year since January 1. SINCE JAN 1 YTD: 59.93 Normal YTD: 36.33 Departure from normal: 23.60 Pretty impressive!
