Estimated peak for the Central/Northern Poconos is between Oct 9-18 I believe this year! nice! so many great places from NE PA into central NY. The past few years I've hit up Bushkill Falls, Hickory Run State Park and Fingers Lakes region of NY.....so awesome in early Oct. 2010 it was the area from Watkins Glen to Ithaca in NY. The picture is from Taughannock Falls State Park.

Parsley
Nice pictures! Have you been to Dingmans falls or childs park in my area? Also very beautiful falls! No, but thanks for the info. I might try to get up there in a few weeks. I'm planning a trip to Lake George, NY so if I take I-84 up to NY I'd be close by passing through NE PA. Parsley
Making this into a "not during storms" thread has hurt its popularity significantly. The rain event last week deserved its own thread (obviously), but this scattered thunderstorm/crap weather is good in the obs/banter thread, I think. I was still amazed by the lack of sunshine for the most part around here today....while there were a few sunny periods, it was rather cloudy yet again. SouthernNJ
A little surprised the Cecil County storm I mentioned earlier did not get a warning because it appeared to have some decent downburst winds with it. Edit: Looks like it did after all, although a little later than it could have.
