18z NAM actually has a pretty decent parameters for severe weather tomorrow. Will be interesting to see what pops up or if anything can get going.

Holy Crap I didn't even see that the NAM drops a ton of QPF over the area around 00z tomorrow night... wow

Not really sure if we're going to see much develop. The 18z was nuts with a few things.

Wasn't as dry aloft, had much more directional shear in place and had much more instability.

BDL hodo is pretty nice looking.

5 hail/0 tor/15 wind... Wiz will have to head to NW MA for best shot

..NERN STATES

AN UPPER-LEVEL TROUGH IS FORECAST TO MOVE INTO THE NERN STATES TODAY

AS A WELL-DEFINED MID-LEVEL JET IN THE BASE OF THE TROUGH MOVES

ACROSS THE REGION. MODEL FORECASTS ACROSS CNTRL NY AND WRN NEW

SOUNDINGS ACROSS THE SLIGHT RISK AREA AT 21Z SHOW MUCAPE VALUES

AROUND 1000 J/KG WITH 50 KT OF DEEP LAYER SHEAR AND UNIDIRECTIONAL

WIND PROFILES. THIS ALONG WITH STRONG FORCING ASSOCIATED WITH THE

UPPER-LEVEL TROUGH SHOULD BE SUFFICIENT FOR A WIND DAMAGE THREAT AS

A LINE OF STORMS DEVELOPS AND MOVES QUICKLY EWD INTO MAINE AND SRN

That's awesome Yoda.. should see a nice line form today, some hodographs have unidirectional gusts to 60kts which is good

This could be like that line of storms a month ago where we see strong winds at the onset then some good lightning

main show will be W MA/CT/NYS, which is sensible.

Hoping it rains here, nevermind a thundestorm. Even a general rainfall looks iffy at this point. Line towards CA/US border will never make it here, so it's either this goalpost split setup or nothing. At least imo.

Check out the NMM and ARW models.. total FG here... WTF!!!!

Maybe next time IRving

I wasn't expecting anything, so you know. Watch, a devestating line will plow through here with 80mph gusts now.

Just keeping an eye on what's happening way out southwest of us, near the northern Mid-Atlantic region (W MA, CT, Hudson Valley) :snowman:
