DMH in downtown Baltimore is 107F.

Congrats everyone on the heat.

94.5F here...my new station record.

Trenton NJ was at 105 before a big thunderstorm hit and back up to 106 after it passed on by.

104 here right near the beach at 2:30 PM (one of my stations recorded 104.9, the other recorded 102.5, so I'm going to take the average of 103.7)-- that's about as rare as it gets lol. The Heat Index was over 130 at the time.

Hard to believe BDR and BDL both broke/tied all time records

Yeah. But we were harping all week how if those 23-24C 850s verified we'd be pushing all-time records in spots. It's pretty cool to see it all pan out after following it for 5+ days.

Kevin will say he told us so.... but I'm shocked the euro torch with +24cs verified. It seems to show it quite a bit but never really verifies.

Very very impressive.

It was obvious to see this coming back in early July, perhaps not to this historical sizzle, but some saw it coming a mile away.

Cool summer has turned > cruel summer if you dont like heat.

By the way went to the beach with my wife this afternoon after work, the water is amazing, crystal clear and warm. Even on the sand wind was west, thankfully we were at a beach where the wind traveled over a stretch of water.

A historical day for sure, monthly departures are going to be crazy, cant wait, plenty more heat on the way.....viva la sizzle

Down here in Baltimore today through this weekend. Not at the AWC convention but visiting my parents. Just brutal. Baltimore Gas and Electric just started reducing power to 450,000 customers. They have a program that is you enroll (and I guess 450,000 have) theyinstll a smart meter installed outside your house so they can turn off your AC compressor for short periods of time. If you enroll you get a $100 per year credit off your electric bill. My folks are enrolled but today is the first day they have actuallystarted reducing powers since the program started. Central air is on full blast at the folks house but inside is still 80F. Now it will go higher if they remotely turn off our compressor.
