Lots of BMW's, Mercedes and Audis with NY,NJ tags completely lost. I did see a brand new Ferrari in Stockbridge the other day. Probably owned by a 65 yo with a blonde 30 something wife.lol

That's how the rotary area of Greenfield is all winter. They stop here to get gas on their weekly pilgrimage to take over the Vermont ski areas.

They refuse to accept that cars in the rotary have the right of way. I've left a few speechless trying to enforce that rule.

It didn't record temperatures as far as I can tell. But nearby coops like Chester did.

Fall 'Freeze' Probabilities (Jul. 31 - Dec. 31)

Earliest - Earliest date when a minimum temperature below the threshold occurred. **/** means there has never been a year when the minimum temperature went below the threshold temperature during the July 31 to Dec. 31 period or insufficient data to determine a date. 07/31 means the minimum temperature can go below the threshold temperature any day during the July 31 to Dec. 31 period.

xx% - Percent probability that a minimum temperature below the threshold will occur on or before the given date. **/** means non-occurrence of the threshold or insufficient data to determine a threshold.

Latest - Latest date when a minimum temperature below the threshold occurred. **/** means there has been a year when the minimum temperature didn't go below the threshold temperature during the July 31 to Dec. 31 period or insufficient data to determine a date.

It doesn't post in the right format but seems like they paid interest in them for frost/freeze purposes.

LOL, I have a 6000 lb truck that refuses to take any guff from them.

To be honest probably not too far. My wife has had both hips replaced so her mobility is somewhat of an issue. It'll be at least a few years anyways before we do consider a move irregardless.

Trying to get my mom to consider knee replacement. She's against it despite being in pain. No real reason to leave this area really, we enjoy a high standard of living here.

When was that?

Looks like it was probably 1982 given what Will posted below.

Because it never happened

Your forecasting and perception of reality seem a bit off. Are you ok?

August 25, 1987 hit 31F at the old Chester coop. August 21, 1984 hit 34F. August 22, 1982 hit 28F. August 11, 1974 hit 34F. August 5, 1972 hit 33F.

Seems like it overlays the Chesterfield Co-op dates quite well. Like the 34 on 8/11, very nice.

It graphs out weird like that when there is no temp data. It appears on the tabular format, they estimate it based on the nearest coop that has suitable data. But I found no temp data at that coop and other coops that didn't have temp data also had the same look to their graphical output and tabular output. Not sure why they put numbers in for the tabular when there actually aren't any, maybe just to have an estimate I guess.

Well I was born in Spfld and wife from Agawam. Guess I'm locked in here for a few more years at least until son finishes college.

Small world! I was born in Spfld and my brother now lives in Agawam. Now I'm up in a small town in New Hampshire.

It's very rural. Not a bad town but there isn't much to do outside of exploring the outdoors. Hiking, biking, kayaking. Keene is a decent little city about half an hour away.

They also do this each August at the Silver Ranch airport... awesome

And this little ice cream shack

(they show the bigger one in Westford, MA)

And this place is in New Ipswich, NH, next door
