I'd put all my money on Ginx.

i think it depends on what type of fight it is...

if we are talking pure brute strength competition, like who would pound the other into submission....yeah my money is on ginx.

if we are talking something else, like maybe an essay contest...i'm not sure...i'd probably lean toward Tip.

There is no fight, pen or sword, it is over. I would pay however to see Scooter versus Yanni.

Shear and helicity are impressive...but it looks like strong southerly surface wind would hurt central and eastern areas a great deal.

yeah i would think sb stuff would be limited at best given the time of day, southerly flow etc.

such a good LLJ punching in and a nice theta-e push is a good climo indicator for some elevated storms.

I think Tip would break out his chinese stars and numchucks..and pound Steve into submission

I never really like hoping for elevated convection in the afternoon or evening. Anecdotally, it seems that surface based convection dies most of the time when moving into a more stable marine environment. Overnight I think it works out more with a dying MCS or associated with isentropic lift north of the warm front.

Agreed.

I think the severe threat is probably limited to CT/W Mass.

Tomorrow screams for someone to get heavy rain late afternoon/evening and likely the severe threat is minimal for most of us. Far western areas might get something more substantial.

Tomorrow is the classic case where we see a very heavy slug of rain/thunder go across MA or N CT and litchfieldlibations is obsessed about it drying up before it reaches his house and calling it the driest summer on record and the biggest torch Fairfield has ever seen in history.

hmm...well maybe I'm not giving the isentropic lift in the afternoon and evening enough credit. Hopefully there are some thunderstorms around this way and not just moderate to heavy rain.

The heavy rain might not be that wide in terms of latitude, so people could easily miss it. Maybe it wont happen at all, but I've seen it like this before and we see some convection congeal and end up as a blob of heavy rain that goes over a certain area. We'll see how it pans out tomorrow...either way I'm not holding my breath for something that interesting whether its heavy rain or only a few showers. If we can destabilize more than models show, then perhaps some severe threat gets further E.

Kenny g has a son that looks like him with the hair and all. I saw a concert with both of them playing.

I wonder if it was his son

Hopefully Kenny G isn't as much of a pr**k as the guy at that bar.

I was kind of hoping he charged Scooter just to see him get body slammed, lol. I think he was just pissed that all the girls from the wedding party were talking to the conference people and not him.
