ski MRG
We sent some of the Upstate LES all the way to Northeast CT I guess. All hell broke loose here overnight (relatively speaking) with a narrow band setting up over me and still snowing and 20F. It looks like around 2 inches has fallen. This is going to blow to kingdom come in my open spot, but looks nice now. Rick, radar looking good for you right now. Nice. Snowing here but more mood snow than accumulating. Logan11
Yeah you can see that plume is aiming almost directly at me. I only get this lucky a few times per winter at best. I think the more southerly and more impressive plume (overnight) ripped through the Catskills and that one probably affected the Waterbury area. 3 to 5 inches reported in a lot of the central/western Cats from that. Rick, radar looking good for you right now. Nice. Snowing here but more mood snow than accumulating.

Logan11
Yeah I sure they got several inches. Now since I typed the above our guy in Kortright (on Upstate thread) just said he got 10" cumulative so some ORO favored areas of the Western Cats have cleaned up with Upslope. I had to run to Oneonta yesterday afternoon and at the time I had ~ 5" on the ground and in Oneonta the grass was showing. Left my house in mod-heavy snow, got to Oneonta and it was light snow, back home to mod-heavy snow. I don't know how they made out overnight. powderfreak
19* here at 2k w/sn. 3" new. Slick ride in. Nice! We had 2-3" overnight and this morning in Stowe village... storm total of 6" so far. Up here at the mountain the upslope snow machine is on at full blast... we've been snowing over 1"/hr since 6am. Visibility is 1/4 mile or less and flakes are huge. This is awesome and has the looks of an over-performer today and tonight. The first retro was a bit of a bust, but this looks like no bust right now as its snowing hard here in the northern Greens. Given the ratios we've been seeing 40:1 or so, even the .25-.5" of QPF the models have over the next 24-36 hours up here could turn into pretty decent totals.
