OKpowdah
I think this may be one of the coldest readings in a long time in Concord with zero snow depth. My first suspect was January 2007, but even that month, there was a light event that gave us 1" on the ground before temps really plummetted. .... Will? wxmanmitch
Hit -2.4 on my backyard thermometer here in Lenox. Clear, calm skies with some snow leftover from earlier this week did the trick. It's amazing how 8 or 9 inches of that fluffy lake effect, upslope stuff just compacted into about 4 inches in the last 72 hours. It has no staying power, unlike a synoptic snow. Do you mean 0" seasonal snowfall or 0" snow depth at the time of observation? If the latter I will guess not even close. I remember below zero temps without any snow cover many times.
