Logan11
Very nice. Unfortunately this place is all blown to hell and not too idyllic looking now, but I'll post a few pics from before the winds ravaged it. Crazy to think those bands jumped the Hudson Valley essentially and buried the Berkshires. A few pics from the distant interior. Even valley towns like Lee have done well. 9+" @ 2k. Still have flakes flying. Constant snow of varying intensity since Sunday. It' beginning to look a lot like Christmas.
weatherMA
27.7/16, down from a high of 32. Maybe if I see some sn showers friday my season total can go from a trace to .25"
Logan11
Some pics from this morning after the LES had tapered off....and before all but one inch was removed (by the wind) from the windiest area behind the house. Oh there is my future wind break ...circa 2015 maybe. LOL

ski MRG
Nice Rick, those windbreaks really do work. Always love seeing the pines near an old house. Smart old farmers.
Logan11
I threw a lot of stuff that I pick up cheap etc. in that general area... Scotch Pine row close up ...one of about 10 that I dug up at my cousin's house in Allegany County, NY. Also Norway Spruces, some Austrian Pines.... 21F here and wind is strong. Logan11
Yes I see what you mean. Aiming for southwest Albany County now rather than the nw corner where I am, but I'll be willing it to shift north. LOL Earlier today it imploded and gave way to lots of multi band spray. Those can never get to me with any intensity....need a more consolidated band. Rick, looks like the band is regenerating to your SW and maybe drifting north toward you. Hope so, Maybe more for both of us.

HoarfrostHubb
Big chunks of the mesomap seem to be down. Power issues? Anyway, it is still showing 21F in Hubbardston, but the data looks old... must be a problem with the pdfamiy site... Baroclinic Zone
Looks like a high of 32F at TAN today. First 32F and below day since February 6th, 2010. Edit that. Looks like I hit 33F in between hourlies. Just goes to show how awful the pattern has been. It's been 10 months.

HoarfrostHubb
Wimpy. Didn't opt out because of weather ... too much work/family stuff to take care of... I've skiied in much colder, and if I went tonight my car would probably still be a little warm when done. No big deal. Glad you had fun today Mr. Pete
