Thunder Road
I hope someone can help me. I recently switched from Firefox to Chrome, and I have the latest version (12.0.742.122). Everything worked fine for about a week or so, then after I came back from vacation things starting getting screwy on AMWX. When I click to reply to a thread, the text editor doesn't automatically open up. Instead, what I type shows up in italicized gray. It still posts, but I can't format anything and it ignores any returns I may have entered, so that when I post it all shows up on one line. (I can then go in and edit the post and it works fine). I also cannot quote posts. When I do, the text editor opens up like normal, but I can't get a cursor to appear in the box, and therefore I can't type anything. I also couldn't start a new thread since the same thing happened to me writing this - the text editor showed up but no cursor. (I'm using Firefox right now to post this btw.) I'm not sure what, if anything, might have changed about Chrome while I was away to cause these problems to start happening. Any ideas? I'd greatly appreciate some help. Thanks in advance. weatherwiz
Try uninstalling and re-installing chrome. I use chrome and I don't have those issues.
Thunder Road
That seems to have fixed it. Thanks!
Thunder Road
was working fine until today...all of a sudden the same issues are back. Then I remembered that I installed an app yesterday that was the only app I had previously. Apparently the "trollface" app (which is really fun btw, it turns words into memes) causes AMWX's text editing not to work.So I think I'll switch back to Firefox
Wow
Sounds like it's manipulating HMTL and it's breaking the board code. The app may have an exception list you could add the site to.
