Gonna go with 106 for EWR. 102 for NYC and LGA 99 for JFK 102 for Trenton That would be a new all time record high at Newark. I think they can get to 105 barring any BS wind or cloud corruption. Weathergun
W-NW flow today. EWR,JFK, and ISP will probably their record highs for today, in the next 2 or 3 hours. Central Park and LGA will probably be a little later. BDR looks like it might be little out of reach, with their record high at 103. But maybe the NW flow helps them out this afternoon. tamarack
Too bad Central Park didn't reach 100 yesterday. 7/21 is already the "heat peak" for NYC observations, with 100 being reached 6X on that date: 1926...100 1930...100 1957...100 1977...104 1980...102 1991...102 NYC is now up to 58 days reaching 100, back through 1876 - 135 yr not counting 2011. (Their records date back through 1871 but I have not found those intial 5 yr.) No other date has recorded more than three.
