Chicago Storm
Thanks chi! Cloudy but up to 86/77 here.. 88 MDW. Good ole airport tarmac readings? Or just no rain cooling like to our west? pretty impressive temps for no sun at all nonetheless.. MDW actually had some sun and no rain leading up to that report, thus the higher reading. Clouds are quickly eroding in WI as the complex weakens. If things go perfectly I guess we'll make a run to the low 90's... Combine that with the mid-upper 70 dews and LOT's advisory might work out. Chicago Storm
ORD only had a low of 80 early this morning. If that stands it will be a record for the date (78/1942) and the first 80+ low since 8/1/06.

OHSnow
Looks like DTX went ahead and pulled the trigger for a 2-day heat advisory. Several areas, especially south of Detroit, were already around or above advisory criteria.

Hoosier
NAM is warm. GFS thermal fields (specifically 850 mb temps) continue to tick warmer for the mid-late week period, almost in line with what the Euro has been showing. Barring something unforseen, seems like a pretty good case can be made for upper 90's to near 100 for ORD (especially if little/no rain prior) and probably mid to upper 90's here. Chicago Storm
And possibly 2 or 3 nights in a row with temps not dropping below 80. Indeed. If the ECMWF is correct, Friday will be as warm as Wed/Thur. If we see dews of 70+, we might be looking at an excessive heat warning.
Stevo6899
One day MLB game today: Indians at Twins. 93/76 at MSP, 95 at a station downtown near Target Field. yea a makeup game. Pretty sure they would've rather played in the rain back in April than today's heat. Just turned it on and they installed air conditioning fans in the dugout. Earning their money today.
